Four companies have been awarded BIDA’s ‘Excellence in Investment Award 2025

Four institutions have been awarded the ‘Excellence in Investment Award’ in recognition of their significant contribution to the country’s investment arena.

The award was presented by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the inaugural function of the ‘Bangladesh Investment Conference’ organized at the Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on Wednesday (April 9, 2025).

The award-winning institutions include Fabric Lagbe, Walton, bKash and Square Pharmaceuticals Limited. They were awarded this award based on excellence in various categories.

Fabric Lagbe was awarded for its innovative initiatives. Walton was recognized for being at the forefront of environmentally friendly and sustainable investments. bKash was awarded for its special contribution in attracting international investment. And Square Pharmaceuticals was honored as a pioneer of domestic investment.

In addition, a special award was given to the Korean Expert Processing Zone for its outstanding role in developing investment-friendly infrastructure. In addition, businessman Kihak Sang was awarded honorary citizenship in recognition of his continued efforts to increase Korean investment in Bangladesh.
