Fresher’s Reception held at NUB Permanent Campus

The Reception Program for Fresher’s of Spring 2019 semester of Northern University Bangladesh held at the permanent campus on February 12, 2019. Mr. Nuruzzaman Ahmed, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah PhD, Chairman, Northern University Bangladesh Trust was present as Guest of Honor. Special Guest of the program was Alhaj Mainul Hossain Nikhil, President, Bangladesh Jubo League (North). Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, Vice- Chancellor, NUB chaired the event. Pro VC Prof. Dr. Anwarul Karim; Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir, Dean, Faculty of Science of Engineering, Prof. Mr. Abu Zayed Mohammad, Dean, Faculty of Law, & Treasurer, Registrar of NUB were also present in the program.

The minister said there is no alternative of creating good citizens without proper education. Minister expressed satisfaction with the activities of the Northern University of Bangladesh and remembered the contribution of Northern University Bangladesh to the development of society. He also said that the best achievement in the history of the Bengali nation is freedom.

Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah encouraged the students to have right goal for life and positive mindset to pursue education consistently. He also reiterated that NUB has the right environment to help them in achieving their goals.

Throughout the day’s program, the whole campus is felicitated with the participation of students, teachers, officers, guardians and invited guests.nub-1
