Aisa Moni and Rina Akhter, two junior operators of Organic Jeans, a concern of Shin Shin Group, are now proud students of Asian University of Women (AUW) in Chittagong.
Graduation degree was their lifelong dream. But the responsibility of their families bound them to enter into jobs after the HSC. They thought their dream would never be fulfilled.
But the dream came true when Organic Jeans announced Inditex scholarships for the female workers of the factory to study at the university. Through the exam, both of them were found eligible to complete their graduation. They already started classes and during their 5-year graduation course, Inditex will be taking care of their tuition fee, lodging, food and monthly stipend to support their family.
Shin Shin Group is delighted to be a part of this journey of fulfilling the lifelong dreams. We are waiting to welcome them again at our factory after their completion of the graduation, but not at the sewing floor rather at dignified office desks.
