Hohenstein Laboratories, a global leader in textile testing and certification, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany and Mr. Mehrab Bin Tarek – Economic Affairs Officer, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bangladesh, at its Tejgaon facility on March 15, 2026.
The Ambassador was greeted by Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Regional Chief (Southeast Asia) of Hohenstein Group, and Senior General Manager Johny Yasmin Kanta, who guided him through the laboratories and provided insights into Hohenstein’s advanced textile testing capabilities.
During the visit, productive discussions were held on the future of textile testing, sustainability standards in the textile industry, and opportunities for strengthening German-Bangladeshi trade relations. The visit highlighted Hohenstein’s commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainable practices in the textile sector.
