GIZ Delegation Meets BGMEA Leadership to Congratulate New Board

A delegation from GIZ visited the BGMEA recently to congratulate the newly elected Board of Directors and strengthen the ongoing collaboration between the two organizations.

The GIZ delegation included Dr. Silvia Popp, Acting Cluster Coordinator, SED TEC; Dr. Michael Klode, Head of Project, STILE II; Christian Bochmann, Head of Project, PRECISE; and Gundolf Klaehn, Head of Project, SCAIP.

The delegation was welcomed by BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan along with Vice President Vidiya Amrit Khan, Senior Vice President Inamul Haq Khan, and Directors Shah Rayeed Chowdhury and Nafis ud Doula.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed ongoing projects, discussed ways to ensure smooth implementation in the market, and explored strategies to further strengthen industry-wide sustainable practices.

The discussion underscored the long-standing collaboration between BGMEA and GIZ, which has consistently supported capacity building, technical assistance, and initiatives to promote sustainable growth and competitiveness in Bangladesh’s RMG sector.
