The Global Innovation Technologist Awards (GITA) are proud to announce Md. Eanamul Haque Nizam, Assistant Professor in the Department of Textile Engineering at Southeast University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, as a distinguished 2026 Award Winner.

Assistant Prof. Nizam was recognized for his exceptional contributions to textile engineering research, innovation in education, and his impactful scholarly work that bridges academia and industry on a global scale.

With a robust 14-year tenure in higher education, complemented by direct industrial experience, Assist. Prof. Nizam exemplifies the award’s mission to honor technologists who drive progress through both knowledge creation and practical application. His career is a testament to a relentless pursuit of expertise across continents.

Currently advancing his field through a PhD at the prestigious Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, Croatia, Prof. Nizam has built a formidable academic foundation. He holds a Bachelor’s and a first Master of Science in Textile Engineering from MBSTU, Bangladesh, followed by a second Master of Science in Fashion Design and Technology from Wuhan Textile University, China.

His prolific research output is particularly noteworthy, having authored and published more than 60 international articles. Furthermore, he has contributed significantly to the body of knowledge in his field by authoring three academic books, showcasing his dedication to disseminating complex technological insights.

“I am deeply honored to receive this global recognition,” said Md. Eanamul Haque Nizam. “This award reinforces my commitment to innovating in textile engineering education and research. My goal has always been to prepare the next generation of engineers with both theoretical depth and practical wisdom, and to contribute research that addresses real-world industrial challenges.”
