World’s largest plastics recycling event celebrates 10th anniversary next week in Amsterdam
The 10th edition of the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRS Europe), the world’s largest event dedicated to plastics recycling, returns to RAI Amsterdam, The Netherlands next week on 5-6 May 2026.

The exhibition and conference will once again bring together the global plastics recycling value chain, with over 500 exhibitors from across Europe and the wider world filling the RAI’s two premier halls, 1 and 5.
The two-day conference opens with a keynote address from Jessika Roswall, European Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy, alongside Ton Emans, President of Plastics Recyclers Europe. Their session, From Crisis to Competitiveness: Re-Building the European Plastics Recycling Industry, will set the tone for discussions across the event. The conference programme will run across two theatres and feature more than 70 leading speakers. It combines keynote sessions, panel discussions and technical presentations covering policy, innovation and market developments.
“Market pressures and policy uncertainty are putting the entire European plastics recycling value chain under heavy strain,” says Ton Emans, President of Plastics Recyclers Europe. “In times like these, collaboration and unity are essential. PRS Europe is where our industry comes together to confront these obstacles, share practical solutions, and strengthen the partnerships needed to make plastics truly circular. This year’s gathering is more vital than ever.”
