The TRIAF 2026 Industry Forum, jointly organized by Politeknik STTT Bandung, Transfar Textile Chemicals and Texpro Precision Technology, was successfully held in Bandung, Indonesia.

Bringing together government representatives, academia, brand customers, and partners from across the textile value chain, the forum explored how technological innovation, industrial collaboration and sustainable talent development can accelerate the transformation of Indonesia’s textile industry.
The morning campus session focused on emerging textile industry trends and technological innovation, bringing the latest industrial developments into the classroom. The three partners also jointly launched a green and energy-saving sustainability initiative and signed an industry–academia cooperation commitment to support local textile education, research and talent development.

During the afternoon industry forum, Transfar shared its global development strategy, dual-brand approach and innovative technology applications. Energy- and cost-saving solutions were presented, including bleach-free pretreatment for cotton knits, one-bath pretreatment and dyeing for polyester knits, and one-bath dyeing for polyester–cotton blends. Application data from Vietnam, Bangladesh and China demonstrated annual savings of more than one million liters of water and reductions of over 100 tonnes of carbon emissions per machine.

Moving from product supply to capability co-creation, Transfar will continue to draw on 40 years of expertise in functional chemicals and its global resources to strengthen local technical services and industry–academia collaboration. Together with governments, universities, brands and manufacturing partners, we look forward to advancing a greener, more efficient and more competitive future for Indonesia’s textile industry.
