Gtech Infrastructure Limited Joins Hands with Textile Focus to Promote Industrial Rooftop Solar Solutions

Gtech Infrastructure Limited, one of Bangladesh’s leading industrial clean energy solution providers, has entered into a strategic media partnership with Textile Focus to promote industrial rooftop solar solutions across the country’s textile and apparel sector.

The signing ceremony was recently held at the corporate office of Gtech Infrastructure Limited in Dhaka in the presence of Mr. D M Abu Bakar Siddique, Managing Director & CEO of Gtech Infrastructure Ltd., Mr. Mohammad Mostafa Kamal, Head of Operations, Textile Focus, Mr. Md Rakibul Islam, Special Correspondent, Textile Focus, alongside senior representatives from both organizations.

Under the partnership, Textile Focus will support industry-focused communication, knowledge sharing, and promotional initiatives to increase awareness of industrial rooftop solar systems and clean energy solutions in the textile industry.

Gtech Infrastructure Limited is recognized as a pioneer in Bangladesh’s industrial clean energy sector, offering consultancy, feasibility studies, engineering design, EPC solutions, and project development in solar PV. Gtech Infrastructure Ltd. and its sister concerns have established a nationwide footprint of over 400 MW in solar ground-mounted, rooftop, and irrigation projects across Bangladesh, spanning from Teknaf to Tetulia.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. D M Abu Bakar Siddique, Managing Director & CEO of Gtech Infrastructure Ltd., said, “Solar is no longer just a sustainability initiative; it is becoming an operational necessity for the future of industry. The Government of Bangladesh is now placing greater focus on solar adoption, and with stronger policy support, especially in duty structures and green financing, the sector can grow significantly faster.”

Speaking on behalf of Textile Focus, Mr. Mohammad Mostafa Kamal, Head of Operations, Textile Focus, said, “The textile and apparel industry is increasingly prioritizing sustainability and energy efficiency. Through this partnership, we aim to create greater industry awareness around rooftop solar solutions and encourage businesses to adopt cleaner and more cost-effective energy alternatives.”

The collaboration reflects the growing momentum of rooftop solar adoption within Bangladesh’s textile and manufacturing sectors as industries continue to focus on energy efficiency, operational cost optimization and evolving global sustainability standards.

Through this initiative, both organizations aim to accelerate the adoption of industrial rooftop solar systems and contribute to building a more sustainable and energy efficient industrial ecosystem in Bangladesh.
