Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) arranged Orientation Program for Freshers’ of Fall Semester-2023 on September 17 at the university’s Permanent Campus, Purbachal American City.
Professor Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Acting Vice Chancellor of Green University presided over the program while Prof. Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir, Distinguished Professor of Green Business School and Former Vice Chancellor of GUB was the Chief Guest.
Prof. K.M. Wazed Kabir, Treasurer; Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad; Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering; Prof. Dr. Farhana Helal Mehtab, Dean, Faculty of Law; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tareque Aziz, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies; Prof. Dr. Md. Shahidullah, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Md. Saiful Islam, Registrar were present in the program. Distinguished Professors, Chairpersons of different departments, faculty members and newly admitted students participated in the program.
The orientation program included introduction session, presentation session and briefing session. The presentation session focused on academic systems and rules, necessary information about GUB, different clubs and co-curricular activities.
In program, Vice-Chancellor of GUB Professor Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed welcomed the newly enrolled students and encouraged them to prepare themselves as global citizens.
