Leading RMG Exporter Hameem Group’s Ashulia Industrial Zone hosted a high-impact corporate responsibility event in collaboration with global interlining leader Wendler Inside.

The initiative, part of Wendler’s CSR program “Wendler Support,” marked a new chapter in advancing eco-friendly garment manufacturing in Bangladesh.

The event highlighted Hameem Group’s growing leadership in sustainable practices within the RMG sector. From waste reduction and renewable energy use to extensive internal recycling and maintaining green industrial spaces, Hameem has embedded environmental stewardship into its core operations.

Key Hameem officials, including Brig. Gen Mohammad Abdul Moeen (Senior Executive Director), Colonel MD Aktaruzzaman, Executive Director, and MD Masudur Rahman, Divisional General Manager, were present at the ceremony.

They reiterated the Group’s commitment to partnering with ethical, sustainability-driven suppliers to achieve long-term environmental goals.

Wendler Inside, a German interlining giant with a 180-year legacy, is setting up a Green Factory in Bangladesh to produce sustainable interlining for the RMG sector.

Their CEO Frank Sailer, Head of Sales Aman Hossain, and Operations Director Ashief Khan shared insights from their global LEED-certified projects, recycled product lines, and closed-loop water and energy practices.

This partnership showcases a shared vision between Hameem and Wendler: to create a scalable roadmap for sustainable innovation in textile production.
