Habitus Fashion Ltd receives LEED Platinum certification award by USGBC

Bangladesh-based one of the sustainable readymade garments manufacturers and exporters, Habitus Fashion Ltd sister concern of Fortis Group is recognized as a ‘LEED Platinum’ rated green factory with 91 scores by the U.S. Green Building Council. (USGBC).

This project is proudly consulted by Conserve Consultant Pvt Ltd. CONSERVE is a Global Consulting Firm in the business of Planning, Designing, Development, and Maintenance of Energy Efficient, Sustainable and High Performance Built Environments and Organizations.

As we stepped into the ‘Made in Bangladesh’ week, we celebrated LEED Platinum Certification for Habitus Fashion Ltd.  This was a remarkable achievement for Habitus Fashion Ltd as a unit and for the entire Fortis Group. Fortis Group has been investing in other sustainability projects such as rooftop solar as reasonability to reduce carbon emissions to the environment and also has a long-term commitment to become NetZero said, Riffat Kamal, Sustainability Project Lead & Manager Operation, Fortis Group.

Habitus Fashion Ltd. achieved LEED certification for implementing practical and measurable strategies and solutions aimed at achieving high performance in Location and Transportation, sustainable site development, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, Indoor environmental quality, and Innovation.
