HAMS Garments Ltd led the group, securing a Platinum rating with 108 out of 110 points, the highest score ever awarded to a garment factory worldwide under the LEED system.

Hams Garments Ltd a Bangladesh-based 100% export-oriented garments manufacturer – crowned as the world’s top USGBC (LEED) Platinum-rated Green building factory – achieving a striking score of 108 out of a possible 110.
In a certificate handover ceremony – Inamul Hoque Khan Bablu, Sr.VP of BGMEA ,Mijanur Rahman,VP-Finance of BGMEA, Faisal Samad, Director of BGMEA, and Ananta Ahmed, Principal LEED Consultant and Managing Director at 360 Total Solution Limited (360 TSL) handed over the certificate to Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, MD of Hams group. The program held at BGMEA complex on 31 January.

The remarkable LEED points (108 out of 110) marking a significant milestone in Hams Garments journey towards environmental stewardship and sustainable development. This achievement underscores their strong commitment to creating a greener, healthier future for generations to come.
HAMS Garments Ltd’s record-setting performance “raises the benchmark for what is possible and encourages the industry to move beyond minimum compliance toward measurable excellence”.
Out of the total 273 LEED-certified garment factories in Bangladesh, some 115 are Platinum rated and 139 are Gold certified.
