Xiamen HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology Co Ltd, a global leader in energy storage innovation, has officially launched its operations in Bangladesh recently, with the opening of its office in Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka, according to a press release.
“These systems are eco-friendly, noise-free, and can reduce oil consumption by up to 70 percent in industrial applications,” said Nazmul Islam, Managing Director of HiTHIUM Bangladesh.
“We are excited to begin this journey in a country actively embracing energy transformation. HiTHIUM’s technology is designed to replace traditional diesel generators, enable smart solar integration, and power sustainable infrastructure,” he added.
Founded in China, HiTHIUM specialises in grid-scale energy storage systems (ESS) and advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology. The company has over 70 GWh of production capacity and is recognised globally for providing intelligent and sustainable energy storage solutions.

HiTHIUM brings a range of products to the Bangladeshi market, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for industrial, commercial, and utility-scale applications, as well as the HeroEE series portable lithium Integrated Power Supply (IPS) systems for homes, offices, and small businesses.
“These systems offer cleaner, cost-effective alternatives to diesel generators while facilitating better integration of solar energy into local grids,” said Ashraful Islam, Director of HiTHIUM Bangladesh.
For remote and off-grid areas, such as the Chittagong Hill Tracts, the Portable Solar IPS system offers a transformative solution. Unlike traditional solar setups with short-lived lead-acid batteries, HiTHIUM’s system uses durable lithium phosphate batteries with a lifespan of 15-20 years.
“A 750 to 1000-watt Portable Solar IPS system is sufficient to meet daily electricity needs for most rural households,” said Lin Ri, Production Manager of HiTHIUM Global.
“The system is environmentally friendly, requires minimal maintenance, and any excess power can be sold to neighbours, creating an additional income stream,” he added.
The launch event in Dhaka was attended by senior representatives from both local and global teams, including Raity Wang, Senior Manager of Sales, HiTHIUM Global.
