Hop Lun Apparel Limited has organised a seasonal disease prevention and awareness session at its factory in partnership with BRAC Healthcare, offering workers free health check-ups and guidance on disease prevention, hygiene and healthy living.

Workers were screened for blood sugar, blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels. Those found to have health concerns received immediate treatment from Hop Lun’s in-house medical team, according to a press release. Two healthcare professionals from BRAC Healthcare also conducted interactive sessions on preventing common illnesses, recognising when medical advice is necessary and maintaining good health at home and in the workplace. They discussed the close relationship between health and work, highlighting the importance of physical fitness to both professional performance and personal well-being.
BRAC Healthcare Ltd Manager for Quality Assurance and Patient Experience Dr Tahmid Hasan Probad said, “Through this partnership, we wanted to provide workers with access to quality healthcare and raise health awareness among them. We firmly believe that a healthy worker thrives in the workplace with greater ease.”
Hop Lun Bangladesh Social Initiatives Head Gulshan Ara said, “The physical and mental well-being of our workers is one of our top priorities. Through this initiative, we aimed to make essential medical support more accessible to our workers and equip them with the knowledge they need to maintain good health.” Hop Lun Apparel said it remained committed to prioritising workers’ well-being and continuing similar health and welfare initiatives across its facilities.
