Yesterday, at the Radhuni Convention Center in Board Bazar, Gazipur, the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Greater Chittagong Association of Gazipur for 2025-2026 took place. The ceremony was chaired by Professor Dr. S. M. Mizanur Rahman, Chairman of the Election Commission-2024, and was conducted by Dr. Faridul Alam, a member of the Election Commission.
The newly elected members of the Executive Committee for 2025-2026, including President Mr. Mohammad Sohel Sadaat, General Secretary Dr. Debjit Ray, and all other elected members, were present at the event.
Other notable attendees included former president Mr. Shahidul Alam Jhinuk, Chairman of the Advisory Board Mr. M. A. Mahmudur Rahman, former president Mr. Helal Uddin Ahmed, and Maimul Hasan, General Secretary of the DUET Students’ Forum Chittagong (Gangchil), among other leaders.
The oath of office was administered by former president Mr. Shahidul Alam Jhinuk.
During the ceremony, the Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr. S. M. Mizanur Rahman, Election Commissioner Dr. Faridul Alam, and Mr. Ratan Mallik were presented with commemorative crests by the Association.
