Inauguration of “Bangladesh-China Green Textile Expo – BCGTX 2025” Held in Dhaka

Today, 23 October 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the most specialized international exhibition in the Bangladesh-China green textile industry, “Bangladesh China Green Textile Expo – BCGTX 2025”, was held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Kuril, Dhaka, organized by Saver International Limited.

The exhibition is being co-organized by the Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB), with BGMEA and Shanghai Climate Week serving as partner organizations.

Focused on sustainable and environmentally friendly textile technologies and innovations, the event features participation from renowned textile and garment companies, investors, technologists, and business delegates from both Bangladesh and China.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr. Yao Wen, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bangladesh. Special guests in attendance included:

Mr. Mizanur Rahman, Vice President (Finance), Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA);

Brigadier General S. M. Zahid Hasan, Chairman, Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation (BTMC);

Mr. Md. Khorshed Alam, President, Bangladesh-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI);

Mr. Han Kun, President, Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB);

Ms. Guan Jie, Executive Secretary General, Shanghai Climate Week Executive Committee;

Professor Ms. Fu Jiajia, College of Textile Science and Engineering, Jiangnan University;

Mr. Ga Zhenyu (Mike Ga), President, Textile & Garment Division, Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB);

Mr. Md. Faizul Alam, Managing Director, Saver International Limited.

The exhibition features displays of eco-friendly and recyclable textile technologies, B2B meetings, seminars, and panel discussions, with top entrepreneurs from China and Bangladesh actively participating. The event will remain open to all visitors from 23 to 25 October 2025, daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
