The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) has recognized another eco-friendly apparel manufacturing factory in Bangladesh as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). The newly LEED-certified Platinum factory is Integra Dresses Ltd with a score of 99 at Gazipur. Bangladesh is now a global leader in LEED-certified green factories.

Established in 2022, Integra Dresses Ltd has swiftly emerged as a prominent player in the readymade garments export and manufacturing industry. The company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability is evident in its rigorous efforts to meet LEED Platinum standards, setting a new benchmark for eco-friendly practices in the region.

With this recent certification, the total number of accredited eco-friendly garment factories in Bangladesh has reached an impressive 204, showcasing the nation’s dedication to promoting environmentally conscious manufacturing processes.

According to the Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Integra Dresses Ltd’s LEED Platinum certification is a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to sustainable business practices. The BGMEA further reports that the factory has excelled in adhering to international standards and has joined the ranks of other globally recognized certifications such as ACCORD, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP (GOLD), OCS, OEKO-TEX, and ISO.
