I believe nowadays everyone is facing a new sweetest problem in our daily and office lives. Can you guess the problem? It’s beyond your thinking, this is your newest helping hand – Artificial Intelligence. Okay, I am telling you one situation from my real life. From my childhood, writing has been my hobby. I also love to give thoughts on ongoing business, political or any catchy issues; sometimes on sports, movies or many other things. I even try to connect the memory lane whenever I post something on social media, writing a long caption and trying to relate things to my emotions.

Where is the problem, Nowadays I feel ashamed because few people think I wrote everything with the help of AI. They are from my circle, from the corporate arena and even my wife sometimes gives doubt on me when I try to convince her through a WhatsApp text after every sweet quarrel. Are you getting help from the GPT?
Yesterday I wrote birthday wishes for one of my school seniors. I copied that writing and pasted it onto some AI detector sites, asking them if it was written with the help of GPT. It said – yes, it seems like AI-based writing. I again asked them why it looked like AI-based writing. Their answer was too funny – They told me they were sorry. It looks like GPT writing. There are no grammatical errors; it is well-structured, emotionally rich, and uses some strong verbs (they mentioned a few), reflective, and clean.
There is a time when those people were experts at drafting mail; they had special values in the office. But now, they are intellectuality has turned into hoaxes. Anybody can now write anything, give a strong reply on any critical situation with the help of AI. Yes, obviously it’s good, helpful and saves our time.
But I see a big problem – It’s damaging our creativity and making us slothful. Once, people would watch a five-season TV series in a day. But now? We take five days to complete a one-and-a-half-hour Netflix movie. Where is our patience? We are most likely into reels nowadays. Rushing to get everything by shortcut.
I have worked for the textile and RMG industry for the last ten years, where I had to face many buyers complaining by email every day. I have to prepare numerous business comparison charts and analyses daily for management. It’s always taken 1-2 hours from my regular office time, but customers organically received clear information. I know GPT can save time, but it cannot understand the real situations because it doesn’t have any historical business data, actually I do. GPT can give me catchy phrase with dramatic solutions, but It makes me feel like a baby donkey – looking cute outwardly but useless inside.
Relying on GPT for routine writing actually harms is and our future. A time will come for us when we will have to think critically with our own brains, but our AI-trained brain minds may not respond then.
Please use your brain, people may judge your thoughts, but your intellectual accountability will grow. An idle, empty brain often gives rise to bad thoughts.
