Bangladesh further solidifies its global standing in the apparel industry as the 16th edition of Intex Bangladesh Expo 2025 officially opens today at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). The three-day international textile sourcing show is set to host over 125 companies from more than 10 countries, providing a dynamic platform for global buyers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
The show was welcomed by Arti Bhagat, Executive Director, Worldex India & Organizer of Intex Shows. Mahabubur Rahman, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Bangladesh was present as chief guest, while Anwar Hossain, Vice-Chairman & CEO, Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh was present as guest of honour. This year’s expo features prominent country pavilions. India, through TEXPROCIL and PDEXCIL, is showcasing cotton, blends, and sustainable textiles; China brings technical fabrics and garment trims; South Korea features eco-friendly performance materials; while Thailand and Japan contribute premium shirting and woven products. Bangladeshi exhibitors are highlighting advancements in knitwear, denim, and vertically integrated production solutions.
Adding to the expo’s value, the Interactive Business Forum (IBF) returns with two thought-provoking sessions. The first explores the integration of Al in textile production and fashion, while the second addresses the impact of global tariffs and trade shifts on Bangladeshi exports. Complementing the exhibition, Intex Bangladesh 2025 includes B2B meetings, VIP networking, and matchmaking opportunities for buyers and suppliers — offering a comprehensive experience for sourcing and business expansion.

Well done Worldex India for organizing successfully Intex shows in Dhaka for the last five years.
