Ambassador of Italy to Bangladesh Enrico Nunziata expressed the willingness during his visit to BGMEA President Faruque Hassan at the latter’s office on 6 May. The Ambassador was apprised of the developments of Bangladesh apparel industry, especially in the areas of safety, sustainability and social compliance.
Italy will continue to provide its cooperation and support for the sustainable development of Bangladesh RMG industry.
Faruque Hassan thanked the Italian government for its friendly support for the betterment of the RMG industry. BGMEA Vice President Md. Shahidullah Azim, Vice President Miran Ali and Vice President Rakibul Alam Chowdhury were present in the occasion.
