ITET 14th council charge handover-takeover held

The Institution of Textile Engineers and Technologists (ITET) organized a charge handover takeover event for newly elected 14th Central Executive Committee on 10th July 2017 in Dhaka. Professor Abdul Mannan, Chairman, University Grand Commission (UGC) was present as chief guest while Prof. Engr. Masud Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh University of Textiles and Mr. Mohammad Hatem, Former Sr. Vice President of BKMEA were present as special guest. The program was presided over by President of 13th Executive committee of ITET Engr. M S Zaman CIP. All elected members of ITET 14th Central Executive committee were present at the event. Everyone actively participated at a long discussion how to improve the working condition of textile garments industry. In their discussion some important points came out which are demand on time now  such as BCS Cadre for textile engineers, Land allocation for ITET Tower, develop and encourage local experts in the industry so that we can contribute more to our economy. Everybody wished all the best for the newly elected 14th Central Executive Committee. Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, President of 14th Central Executive Committee requested all to work together for the betterment of the textile engineers’ community.
