ITET BUTEX Career Fair 2025 Held

The ITET BUTEX Career Fair 2025 was officially inaugurated on 17 September 2025 at the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) by Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Zulhash Uddin (Honorable Vice Chancellor, BUTEX), together with Engr. Ehsanul Karim Kaiser (Convenor, ITET) and Engr. Md. Enayet Hossain (Member Secretary, ITET). Dr. Rasheda Begum Dina (Registrar, BUTEX), Dr. Sheikh Md. Mamun Kabir (Moderator, BUTEX Career Club), along with respected teachers, career club leaders, alumni, and current students were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

In his inaugural speech, Dr. Zulhash Uddin expressed gratitude to the BUTEX Career Club for successfully organizing such a grand event. He urged industry leaders to recruit more BUTEX graduates, assuring them that BUTEXians will play a vital role in driving their companies forward.

Engr. Ehsanul Karim Kaiser highlighted the importance of academia-industry collaboration and assured that ITET will continue working closely with the BUTEX Career Club to arrange more impactful initiatives in the future.

Following the inauguration, the Honorable Vice Chancellor and other guests toured all company stalls, interacted with representatives, and exchanged greetings, marking a remarkable start to the fair.

Organized by the BUTEX Career Club, the ITET BUTEX Career Fair stands as the club’s flagship event, connecting students with leading textile and apparel organizations. The fair not only opens doors to internships and jobs but also fosters networking, professional growth, and stronger ties between academia and industry.
