ITET-EKSOY Cricket Tournament: Asutex Champion and Morrison Stricker Runner-up

Desk Report: Textile engineers community organized by  ITET-EKSOY final cricket tournament held on 17 February at BUTEX GMAG Osmani Hall Ground in the capital. Many textile professionals had to travel every day to pro-Narayanganj or Gazipur from Dhaka for their jobs with the sheer risk of petrol bombs and vandalism. But many of them voluntarily came to the ground to enjoy cricket and to have a charming get-together.

The cricket tournament was organized by The Institute of Textile Engineers and Technologists (ITET) amid continuous blockades but it ended up with sheer cheers and participation of many professionals working in the textile industry. Many engineers have been coming to the Osmani Hall Cricket Ground from around the city every Friday to enjoy cricket encounters among different teams.

ASUTEX, Champion and Morrison Stricker, Runner-up of ITET Cricket Tournament. Engr Shafiqur Rahman President of ITET presided over the ITET-EKSOY Cricket Tournament. Engr. Masudur Rahman, former Chairman TED-IEB; Prof. Dr. Shah Alimuzzaman Belal newly appointed Vice-Chancellor (Acting), BUTEX; Engr. Shamim Rahman, Central member of IEB; Engr. Ashad Rahman, Chairman, TED-IEB; Engr. Touhidul Islam Kakon Joint General Secretary, ITET and Convener of ITET-EKSOY Cricket Tournament; Engr. Rafiquzzaman Rony member Secretary, ITET-EKSOY Cricket Tournament; Engr. Mamunur Nasim Sourov, Engr. Kamruzzaman and many distinguished guests spoke at the prize-giving ceremony.
