ITMF Annual Conference 2022 held

The ITMF Annual Conference 2022 hosted by Swiss Textiles and Swiss Textile Machinery in Davos came to end on September 20.
During three days 300+ participants met in person to discuss what the global textile value chain can do to fight climate change.
A keynote speech by David Bosshart, a Swiss Philosopher, Futurist, and Retail & Consumer Analyst provided the delegates with a deep analysis of underlying trends that are a shaping the future of the global textile value chain.

Presentations by brands (H&M, Adidas, IKEA, and Puma), fibre producers (Unifi, Infinited Fibre, SASA, Supima, Cotton Brazil), universities and research institutes (ITA Aachen, CETI), as well as many well-established textile companies and start-ups shed light on the many efforts the industry undertakes to improve the state of the textile industry with regard to social, environmental, and economic aspects. The delegates took home many valuable insights, best practices, encouraging ideas, and a strengthened international network.
The next ITMF Annual Conference will be held in October 2023 in Keqiao, Shaoxing, China.
