Joseph Marie Jacquard, inventor of jacquard loom. Named after him, a Jacquard loom is immediately identifiable by the green harnesses that extend up to where the control head is located. Each of those green harnesses are connected to one, two or sometimes 4 warp yarns. Basically this weave designs used in home decoration fabrics, curtains, bed covers, carpets etc. but now denim lover creates this sector as new fashion trends to diversified jeans.
Jacquard weaves are characterized by complex woven-in designs, often with large design repeats or tapestry effects. Fabrics made by this method include brocade, damask, and brocatelle. But in denim sight, the design repeats are small because of its end use style and garment look.

In that case super combed cotton, multi twist yarn, siro yarn used mainly for tops or kids items. Weft yarn in jacquard using cotton, cotton/poly stretch and PC, CVC, Duel core, tencel sometimes. Super poly stretch/cotton stretch mainly for skinny jeggings or jeans and these are the most attractive styles. For tops, designers using light weight rigid cotton denim. Available jacquard fabrics weight range is 6 oz. to 10 oz. for both tops and bottoms.
