Desk Report: JCI Dhaka East is an International youth organization, hosted “Project Nari”, an initiative to create awareness among the female workers of a textile factory regarding their feminine health. It is the third year that JCI Dhaka East has initiated a health awareness workshop with the female workers of a woven textile factory.
The workshop was jointly organized by SIM Group and JCI Dhaka East on 9 October held at a woven textile factory owned by the company in Rupganj of Narayanganj. This Program is guided by Eazaz Mohammed, Managing Director, Orchard Group, Local President, JCI Dhaka East & Shoaib Mozaffar Hasan, Director of SIM group and VP of JCI Dhaka East
Around 50 female workers of SIM Group factories attended the workshop on feminine health. The doctors spoke about feminine health, conducted a general medical check-up and also provided one-to-one sessions to those workers seeking advice regarding various health hazards.
