Desk Report: Md. Khayer Mia, Managing Director, Hyacinth Fabrics Mills Limited & Director, BTMA appointed trade & business counsellor of South Sudan. He received his appointed letter from Nurul Islam, honorary counsel of South Sudan for the term 2021-2023.
Mr. Khayer is the Director of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries and former director of Bangladesh Textile Mill Association.
The trade cooperation have been the services of Bangladeshi peacekeepers in South Sudan, involvement of Bangladeshi NGOs in various sectors of social development of South Sudan and the investment of Bangladeshi firms in South Sudan, particularly in the agriculture sector.
