BUTEX TexMech Society has officially announced the Executive Committee for the 2025–26 session. In the newly formed committee, Pranto Biswas has taken charge as President, Al Mahmud Arnob as Vice President, and Ahnaf Tahmid as General Secretary.

The official announcement took place on October 13 (Monday) at the university campus. The event was graced by Professor Dr. Shaikh Md. Mominul Alam, Head of the Department of TMDM along with other faculty members, current and outgoing TexMech Society members.
During the ceremony, the faculty members congratulated the newly elected committee and expressed confidence that the new leadership will continue to uphold the society’s reputation through honesty, dedication, and teamwork.
Significantly, the previous Executive Committee successfully organized “Textile Machinery Exhibition: TexMach Expo”, the first-ever machine exhibition on the BUTEX campus, an event highly praised by faculty, students and industry professionals alike.
Carrying forward this legacy, the new committee aims to implement more innovative and impactful initiatives, steering the TexMech Society towards greater achievements. The newly elected members also expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them and reaffirmed their commitment to working collectively for the betterment of TexMech Society and the BUTEX community.
