BGMEA Director Shah Rayeed Chowdhury attended the opening ceremony as a special guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the establishment of Celio’s new office reflects the brand’s growing confidence in Bangladesh as a reliable and strategic sourcing destination.
During the event, Shah Rayeed Chowdhury held discussions with Celio’s leadership regarding the company’s future business plans in Bangladesh. Currently, around 70% of Celio’s global sourcing comes from Bangladesh, and the company expressed its intention to further increase its sourcing from the country in the coming years.
The opening ceremony was attended by Celio Founder Marc Grosman, President Sebastien Bismuth, Offer and Buying Director Morgan Delemazure, and Bangladesh Country Manager Lucie Abt.
French Ambassador to Bangladesh Jean-Marc SERE-CHARLET also attended the ceremony.
