Legacy Fashion focusing on Quality and on time delivery

Legacy Fashions, a sister concern of Habib Group, is one of the conglomerate apparel manufacturing factories in Chattogram region. This company is working for value addition, through their continuous effort and commitment to product innovation and continuous improvement of the quality benchmark. Legacy fashion established in 2006, under the leadership of late Mr. Mahbub Ali.

Now this company is led by dynamic & enthusiastic young leader Mr Tanvir Habib, Managing Director of Legacy Fashion and Director- BGMEA.

Legacy Fashion is producing all kinds of knit and woven items including, shirt, denim, non-denim, kids item, jacket etc. Their monthly capacity is 8-10 lakh pieces. Near around 2000 workers have been provided employment opportunity by this company who is exporting products to Europe and USA market. Jeorge, Walmart, M&S, PVH, H&M and many more top leading brand are their core customers.

“Due to the pandemic, we have also been hit as the woven items order fluctuated reluctantly. So we focused more on knit item. Our another specialty is to deliver product with very short lead time as we are near to the sea port. With the demand of the fashion trend, Legacy trained its workforce to achieve premium quality and  finishing of its products. This resulted in a varieties of products which consumer find superior in both quality and fashions. For their quality and on time shipment, they have been awarded by Walmart, PVH and M&S.

Legacy has around 35 lines of production and they introduced latest technology in their sewing and finishing line. A dedicated Research and development team is working for showcasing their premium quality and regular development focusing on world fashion trend. All those industry best practices are adding more value to them.

During the corona Pandemic, they have successfully tackled the situation and no single worker has been affected by the deadliest virus. Legacy Fashion implemented all safety and precautions for ensuring workers health and safety measures including hand sanitization, floor sanitization, and transport facility for workers, temperature measurement, medical supports etc.

white-dress“Our current stratedgy is to keep up with world market trend. I feel Cvid 19 has pressed a reset button in the industry. Clothing lifestyle is changing in the western world. Although legacy fashion ls predominantly a Woven Shirt manufacturing unit however with the increase in demand in knitwear we have successfully converted 20% of our production lines to knits.

Our future goal is to be sustainable, introduce diversified range of products keeping up with the current market trend. We are continuously exploring new markets.

Our goal in 2022 is to convert at least 40% of our entire group capacity to knits and active wear.”
