Beyond being one of humanity’s most deeply rooted production fields, textiles represent a great story of transformation where labor, knowledge, patience, and imagination come together. In every thread lies an accumulation, in every fabric an experience, and in every technology a vision extending into the future. Today, our industry is witnessing one of the most exciting periods of this long-established journey. The world is changing. Transformations in the global economy, shifts in production approaches, and new sustainability focused perspectives are reshaping the textile industry. Competition is no longer defined solely by production capacity; it is now determined by adaptation to technology, efficiency, sustainability, and the power of innovation. In this new era, companies that invest in the right technologies, embrace digitalization, and lead transformation will be the key actors shaping the industry’s future. At this very point, ITM 2026 International Textile Machinery Exhibition, to be held on June 9–13, 2026, at the Istanbul Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, will not be just an exhibition; it will become a strategic meeting point where our industry will breathe again, determine its direction, and shape its future. Bringing together machine manufacturers, technology providers, investors, and industry professionals from all around the world in Istanbul, this major organization will once again ensure that the heart of textile technologies beats in Türkiye.

“OUR VISITORS WILL CLOSELY EXPERIENCE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS AND AI-SUPPORTED PRODUCTION SYSTEMS.” Machines with high levels of automation, digital integration solutions, and sustainable production technologies to be exhibited at ITM 2026 will provide our manufacturers not only with today’s competitiveness but also with future competitiveness. Our visitors will have the opportunity to closely observe systems that significantly reduce energy consumption, dyeing and finishing technologies that minimize water use, innovative solutions that enable production with recycled raw materials, and AI-supported production systems. Textile production is no longer just a mechanical process; it is transforming into a data-driven, smart, and integrated production ecosystem. Thanks to sensor technologies, real-time data analysis, cloud-based production management, and autonomous production lines, factories are operating faster, more flexibly, and more efficiently. ITM 2026 will be the most comprehensive platform showcasing the current state of digital transformation in textile production. On the other hand, technical textiles used in many fields—from defense to healthcare, from automotive to aviation—are taking on a decisive role in the future of our industry. HIGHTEX 2026 International Technical Textiles and Nonwoven Exhibition, to be held simultaneously with ITM 2026, will be one of the most important complementary elements of our industry’s high-value-added production journey. The fact that the ITM and HIGHTEX exhibitions will be held under the same roof will offer visitors the opportunity to experience both the present and the future of textiles. Sustainability in the textile industry is no longer an option but a necessity. Environmentally friendly production technologies, systems that reduce the carbon footprint, and circular production models to be exhibited at ITM 2026 will contribute to the sector’s green transformation. Participants will gain concrete insights into the future of production by experiencing environmentally conscious technologies.

“ISTANBUL’S STRATEGIC LOCATION WILL TRANSFORM OUR EXHIBITION INTO A GLOBAL PLATFORM.” Türkiye’s textile and apparel industry, with approximately 1.2 million employees, an export volume exceeding 30 billion dollars, and a strong, integrated production infrastructure, stands as one of the indispensable countries in the global supply chain. Our production strength, ranging from yarn to fabric, from apparel to technical textiles, combined with our flexible, fast, and high-quality manufacturing capabilities, positions Türkiye as a strategic hub in international competition. Our proximity to Europe and fast delivery advantage further reinforces this strong position. For this reason, it is of great importance that ITM 2026 be held in Istanbul, the city where the industry’s heart beats. We have no doubt that Istanbul’s strategic location, ease of transportation, and cultural richness will transform this major gathering beyond an exhibition into a global platform. Beyond being a platform where new technologies are showcased, ITM 2026 will also be a hub for international collaborations and investment opportunities. Meetings and networking events to be held throughout the exhibition will enable industry stakeholders to establish long-term partnerships and open new doors for trade. Hosting more than 1,300 companies and representatives and over 66,000 industry professionals at the ITM and HIGHTEX 2024 exhibitions is the clearest indication of the global trust and impact these events have achieved. At ITM 2026, we aim to take this success even further, bring more innovations to our industry, and pave the way for new collaborations.

“WE ARE METICULOUSLY CONTINUING OUR WORK WITH AN EXPERIENCED AND DEDICATED TEAM” As Teknik Fuarcılık Organization, thanks to our valuable cooperation with Tüyap, one of the strongest organizations in the exhibition industry, we will continue to create new opportunities and open new doors for all stakeholders of our sector. At this point, I would especially like to emphasize that both on the Teknik Fuarcılık Organization and Tüyap sides, we are continuing our preparations with great care through highly competent, experienced, and dedicated teams. On this occasion, I would like to sincerely thank all our colleagues who have contributed to the months-long planning, coordination, and detailed work processes with great effort to ensure the successful realization of ITM 2026. We wholeheartedly believe that ITM 2026 will create new opportunities not only for Türkiye but also for the global textile industry. From Europe to Asia, from the Middle East to America, we will be delighted to host all our visitors from around the world in Istanbul at this great gathering of our industry. Let us step into a new era in textile technologies together.
