Event marks a milestone in LMW’s decades-long partnership with Bangladesh’s textile industry
LMW, a global leader in textile spinning machinery, brought together more than 375 mill owners, technologists, and industry leaders in Dhaka on 22 June 2026 for its symposium “The Path to a Smart & Profitable Mill.” Held at the Grand Ballroom, Radisson Blu, the gathering reflected LMW’s deep roots in the market, where it has installed over 3 million spindles to date.
The evening opened with a keynote address by Mr. S. Rajasekaran, President – Operations, LMW Limited, who spoke to the strong momentum behind Bangladesh’s spinning industry – its competitive strengths, the opportunities and priorities ahead, and a clear roadmap toward future-ready mills. Celebrating key milestones in LMW’s long and successful partnership with Bangladesh, he highlighted a shared journey toward smarter, more sustainable, and more profitable mills.
Building on that foundation, Mr. P. J. Rajesh, COO, LMW Global FZE, presented the LMW New Product Overview, showcasing the company’s latest engineering advances – machinery designed for higher productivity, lower energy consumption, and the operational intelligence that defines a modern mill.
Mr. Vivek Arora, GM – Sales & Marketing, LMW Limited, then turned the conversation to the bottom line, with a session on enhancing spinning mill profitability that connected the right technology and operating decisions to measurable financial returns.
Closing the technical programme, Mr. S. Ramesh Kannan, Country Head – Bangladesh, LMW Global FZE, presented the Bangladesh success story and detailed the value and performance that LMW components deliver in the field – grounding the evening’s themes in real outcomes from mills across the country.
