One of the biggest national career event “RMG & TEXTILE CAREER SUMMIT 2023” has been organised by Textile Xperts on November 10 at City University auditorium hall. More than 500 textile engineering students and professional and corporate leaders from 87 institutions & corporate offices all over Bangladesh joined the day-long program.
Recite from the Holy Quran & national song then inaugurated the morning session by Brig Gen. Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Lutfor Rahman (Retd.), vice chancellor, City University. He said, “skill development program is of utmost necessary for the professionals and especially university students. I am so glad & welcome the team Textile Xperts to organise this mega event”.
Training sessions were conducted on 5 important topics throughout the day to develop the skills of the youth, providing them with details about the RMG & textile sector & an opportunity to network with corporate leaders.
The topics are Merchandising and Supply Chain Management training conducted by Imam Mehedi Hasan, Career Opportunity in Industrial Engineering by Engr. Merajul Hasan Mobin, Corporate Behaviours & Soft Skills by Ahamed Sorowar, Masterclass of Interview Hacks by Rehan Asif, Professional Resume writing by Mizanur Rahman.
Panel discussion held on Wet Process, Apparel manufacturing, Fabric Engineering and yarn Engineering, and Marketing career opportunities in Bangladesh. The session was conducted by Ahamed Sorowar with the country’s top-class industrial personnel Muhammad Wahidul Alam, Shohag Sen & Md. Shawkat Hossain sohel.
All the guest speaker, trainers, panelists, and guardians of the students expressed their thoughts that there is nothing like an upskilling program and continuous training with recent developments & the attempt from Textile Xperts really appreciated.
