Desk Report: For the first ever time Apparel Merchandiser Foundation of Bangladesh (AMFB) will be holding “Merchandiser’s Conference-2022” on 4th March at Uttara Club, Uttara-Dhaka.
The conference will have open discussion for the wellbeing of merchandisers and mid-level community of Bangladesh apparel sector. It has been already 50years matured apparel sector but still there is no remarkable facilities visible for the employees. Merchandising is prestigious and hard-working job but there is no life security promised by the organizations.
AMFB is expecting an effective discussion session from RMG leaders and a couple of events with colourful cultural night, said Ahmed Ala Uddin Rasel, General Secretary, Apparel Merchandiser Foundation of Bangladesh (AMFB). The main program will start at 4.00pm in sequence reciting Al-Quran & Gita, welcome speech, opening ceremony, Open discussion, fashion show presents by Twelve then maghrib prayer break.
Then the golden moment will be ornamented by the chief guest Faruque Hassan, President BGMEA, guest of honour AKM Salim Osman, MP. President, BKMEA, Abdullah HIl Rakib-MD, Team group & Director, BGMEA, Md. Khosru Chowdhury,MD-Nipa group, Helal Uddin Ahmed, Chairman JCL Group, Kyaw Sein Thay Dolly, MD, Cloths “R” Us Ltd, There are many more representatives and professionals from different platform and organisations like FBCCI, BGMEA, BKMEA, BGBA, ATET, IEB, ITET, Ministry Members from Peoples Republic Of Bangladesh will be present in the conference. This conference will be presided by Abdullah-Al-Mamun Chairman, AMFB
AFMB decided to give life time honor to those merchandisers are already leader in the market & created a story for the young generation to follow. For the first conference three person are selected Abdullah Al Maher, CEO & Head of Business Fakir Apparels limited, Mr. Khalil, Head of Merchandising & Marketing- Esquire Knit Manufacturer ltd. Mr. Atish Biswas, Director- ABA Group. After this session this conference will have a musical session by the renowned local singers and end with a dinner party.

With the theme AMFB started journey since 2017 promising to secure health, insurance, education & skill development at a minimal level for the community of apparel merchandiser. AMFB is a Govt. registered organisation (Reg no# S-13590/2021). Every year will follow the same conference as continuation said officials from AMFB.
