Desk Report: Ministry of Textiles and Jute appoints Md Abdur Rouf a secretary. Ministry of Textiles and Jute issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday. Abdur Rouf belongs to a member of 11th BCS (Admin) Cadre officers . He joined as Secretary to Ministry of Textiles and Jute on 15 November 2021. He did his B.Sc (Hons) & M.Sc in Agricultural Economics from Bangladesh Agricultural University and MBA in Business Administration from Bangladesh Open University.
From his joining to the Govt. service, he worked as Assistant Commissioner & Magistrate, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Senior Assistant Commissioner, Upazila Nirbahi Oficer (UNO), Additional Deputy Commissioner in the field administration. Besides, he worked as Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary to Policy Support Unit Project of Local Government Department under MoLG&RD. he worked as Chairman to Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC).
