Moscow Fashion Week Participants Making Their Mark Internationally

Regular participants of Moscow Fashion Week continue to expand their presence on international professional platforms in countries like Armenia, China, India, Spain, Tajikistan, the USA, and others. These global collaborations have been made possible through agreements between Moscow Fashion Week and international fashion associations following the BRICS+ Fashion Summit.

Moscow-based brand Solangel will showcase its collection at Noir Fashion Week in New York, USA, on February 13. According to the brand’s founder and designer, Irena Soprano, “Moscow Fashion Week is one of the key driving forces in Russia’s fashion industry. Thanks to the Moscow Fashion Week exchange program, Solangel will showcase its collection at Noir Fashion Week. This important strategic step not only strengthens the brand’s international presence but also enables it to engage more effectively with a global audience.”

On January 16, the Ermilov brand had a successful showcase at Hub of Africa Fashion Week in Ethiopia. Founder of the brand Lev Ermilov noted that this experience was a significant step in the development of the brand, “We successfully leveraged the invaluable experience gained at Moscow Fashion Week for our debut international show. Our collaboration with Moscow Fashion Week has been a true springboard, propelling our brand onto the global stage.”

The designer exchange program between Moscow Fashion Week and international industry associations is a powerful catalyst for the growth of Russian designers, providing them with direct access to global experts and retail professionals.

The Moscow-based brand Addicted_To… participated in Yerevan Fashion Week in Armenia at the end of 2025.

“One of our primary goals is to enhance collaboration between organizations hosting Fashion Weeks across different countries, building a robust network of designers, industry experts, and educational institutions. We believe that designer exchanges and joint projects offer mutual benefits and play a vital role in the sustainable growth of the regional fashion ecosystem,” highlighted Elen Manukyan, Co-Founder and Team Leader of Fashion and Garment Chamber of Armenia and Yerevan Fashion Week.

“Exchange programs between Moscow Fashion Week and fashion weeks worldwide play a crucial role in advancing the industry. Currently, Moscow Fashion Week stands as one of the most effective platforms for promoting local designers. Russian brands have the opportunity to present their collections at Moscow’s top venues free of charge, leading to invitations to showcase abroad. This process significantly contributes to the growth and global recognition of the local fashion industry,” said Olesya Kosopletkina, Designer and Founder of Addicted_To…

In 2025, the Moscow-based brand Kuchugova presented its collection at Tajikistan Fashion Week. Throughout the year, several other Moscow Fashion Week resident brands showcased their collections in China, Ethiopia, India and Spain.
