Chairman and Managing Director of G-Tech Solution Limited Mostafa Al Mahmud and Chairman of the Filament Engineering Ltd Engr. Mohammad Ataur Rahman Sarker have been elected president and General Secretary (GS) of the Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA) respectively for next two years (2025-26).
The BSREA formed the 21- members new executive committee through a biennial election held on Sunday at Club 89 Ltd in Gulshan-1, said a press release.
Mostafa Al Mahmud was elected for the president for the first time, while Engr. Mohammad Ataur Rahman Sarker was elected GS of the body. Both of them were elected unopposed.
The other elected office bearers of the BSREA are: senior vice President Zahidul Alam (Engreeen Engineering Ltd), vice presidents MA Taher (Sherpa Power Ltd) and Engr. SK Mohammad Ruhul Amin (CHINT Solar Co Ltd), Treasurer Nitai Pada Saha, EC members Md Mahfuz Ur Rahman Bhuiyan (UCC), Aminul Islam (Sympa Solar Power Ltd), Engr. Naznin Akter (SOLARIC Ltd), Munshi Siddikur Rahman (SS Trading), ASM Yasir Arafat (Larms Power), Saif Uddowlah (Solar Power Ltd), Md Irfanul Haq Bhuyain (Solar Home Co), Sheikh Monowar Ahmed (Rahimafrooz Renewable Energy Ltd), Sheikh Rafiul Kabir (InGen Technology Ltd), AKM Kamrul Huda (Spectra Solar Park Ltd), Md Subail Bin Alam (Ranco Infrastructure and Engineering Ltd), Md Lutfor Rahman (Genetik Power and Engineering Ltd), Imran Chowdhury (Total Energy SE), Md Humayun Kabir Tipu (Humayun Trading Corporation) as well as Md Hasibul Bahar (JRK Electric Trade).
