On November 21–22, Muratec Textile Machinery participated in the 78th All India Textile Conference held in Coimbatore, India.

The event brought together around 600 industry leaders, machinery manufacturers, spinning companies, research institutions, and universities from India and abroad under the theme “Global Textiles: Unearthing Opportunities.” Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including the current state and outlook of India’s textile industry, the global apparel market, and sustainability initiatives.
In addition to exhibiting at the booth, Akitsugu Mori, Product Manager for VORTEX spinning machines, delivered a presentation titled “Sustainability With VORTEX.” He explained how VORTEX offers greater flexibility across yarn types and counts—while maintaining high productivity and efficiency compared to ring or open-end spinning.
He also highlighted how VORTEX can contribute to sustainable manufacturing through features such as superior pilling resistance for enhanced product durability and flexibility to handle small-lot, multi-variety production.
Through conversations with many visitors, we truly felt the strong presence and growing expectations for VORTEX in the Indian market. We will continue to contribute to a sustainable future for the global textile industry, including India and beyond.
