The “She STEM presents: National Textile Science Competition 2025” was successfully held on September 21, 2025 at Barishal Textile Engineering College, organised by the Science and Research Club BTEC. The day-long event provided students with the opportunity to showcase research, innovation, and practical experiences.

Distinguished guests present at the event included:

- Engr. Ariful Islam, Country Manager, AM TEX, SUZHOU YINGXING TEXTILE CO. LTD

Alongside them, top officials from renowned industries across the country attended, while academic and industrial experts served as judges for various competition segments.

In the Article Writing Competition, the winners were:
- 1st Place: Taufiq Kabir (Barishal Textile Engineering College)
- 2nd Place: Hafiza Akter Aditi (Barishal Textile Engineering College)
- 3rd Place: Ibrahim Khali (Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University)
Judges for this segment included:

In the Innovation Video Competition, the winners were:
- 1st Place: Amanullah (Brishal Textile Engineering College)
- 2nd Place: Team ECO (Pabna Textile Engineering College)
- 3rd Place: Team Shield (Brishal Textile Engineering College)
Judges for this segment included:

- Md. Dulal Hossain, Lecturer, Department of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh
- Md. Salauddin, Advisor (Textile & Garments Merchandising), Head of Operation, Bunon Bangladesh
The winners received certificates, T-shirts, exclusive gifts, lab and online courses, with total prizes worth 34,000 BDT. Additionally, 10 more students from Barishal Textile Engineering College campus won opportunities including industry internships and other facilities.
According to the organisers, the Science and Research Club BTEC, this competition will further encourage students in creativity, research, and innovation, opening new horizons for Bangladesh’s textile sector.
