
For the first time in Bangladesh, the Textile Engineers Association (TEA) has successfully organized the Nationwide Picnic 2025, marking a significant milestone in the country’s textile sector. This groundbreaking event, held under TEA’s own initiative, aimed to foster stronger bonds among its organizers and members.
Sagar Bepary, Founder and CEO of TEA, officially announced that this event would now be an annual tradition, reinforcing unity and collaboration within the association.
A Memorable Journey to Rangamati
The inaugural edition of the Nationwide Picnic took participants to the breathtaking landscapes of Rangamati. A total of 35 members, including TEA’s core team and general members, embarked on the journey from Saydabad, Dhaka, on February 6 at 10 PM.
Upon arrival, visit iconic locations such as the Hanging Bridge and Shubolong Waterfall. Following a mid-day break, the journey continued with visits to Palwel Park, a Buddhist Temple, and the serene Kaptai Lake. The day concluded with a relaxing evening at Palwel Park, where participants spent time together until 10 PM.
Later, the team headed to Rangamati town for dinner at Amar Bari Restaurant, where a short discussion session was held to reflect on the experience. The session concluded with closing remarks from the Honorable Councilor, Mr. Md. Shawkat Hossain Sohel.
