sohel-yousufBangladesh textile garments industry has been suffering a lot during this pandemic situation. It has been largely affect order decrease due to COVID-19 outbreak. Last year the industry survived with some good initiatives and government support. As the country is largely affected by second wave of COVID now it’s really very hard time for this industry. Recently BGMEA election has been completed and new BGMEA committee with the leadership of Mr. Faruque Hassan has taken the charge for 2021-2023. Textile Focus has been talking with BGMEA members’ company owners regarding the expectation from the new board. Muhammad Sohel Yousuf, CEO & Chairman, Fardin Fashion Ltd. expressed wish to new BGMEA board.

As we are a backward linkage industry for RMG. We need to stronger backward linkage area. We will appreciate if BGMEA new board think about their backward industries in any facilities issues from Government or buyers.
