A new committee of 47 members of the JibonerAlo, a voluntary organization of Shaheed Abdur Rab Serniabat Textile Engineering College, Barisal was announced. Jiboner Alo’s founder and current Advisor Shahadat Hossain, performed the program. This new committee was announced in the new committee, including ShawonZakaria new President, Md. Riyad Hossain and Jannatul Ferdous Ruhani Vice President, Mehedi Hasan General Secretary.
After the announcement of the new committee, the distribution of identity cards and future planning of the organization was announced. The organization has recently taken a project to create online blood banks. Blood donation services are also available at the earliest without completely free conditions. On February 20, 2015, the organization started its journey through the treatment of Afreen, a girl’s eye treatment. Apart from standing beside the financially difficulties, the organization has taken public awareness campaigns. The organization wants to work with awareness about the 999 Emergency Helpline services and to increase awareness among women in preventing violence, police service and emergency ambulance service. Founder of the organization Shahadat Hossain said, “In our country, various types of unpleasant incidents are increasing in our country recently. Our collective initiative can reduce this unpleasant incident. Many of our women do not care about the National Emergency Helpline number or service. As a result they are deprived of the right services at an emergency. That’s why we want to spread the leaflets to increase public awareness and reach out to the people through different paths. “
