Desk Report: On 17 December 2022, the Talent acquisition wing of Purbani Group signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Textile Engineering & Research – NITER Signed the agreement Dr. Mohammad Junaebur Rashid, Principal, NITER & Professor to the University of Dhaka and Shafiqul Islam Sarker (Sohel), Managing Director of Purbani Group. “It’s big milestone achieved for NITERian” Thanks for everything! PURBANI is one of the largest & oldest established 100% export oriented Textile conglomerates in Bangladesh since 1973 and doing business for more than 4 decades with eminence.

Purbani has been involved in the textile business for over Forty years. In the early seventies, it emerged in the textile business as a textile yarn trader. In 1984, the group entered into textile manufacturing by acquiring a spinning production line. Today, the group has a 100% export oriented vertically integrated knitted apparel production facility, that is, it uses its own spinning units to produce yarn and the yarn is used in the subsequent in-house processes to manufacture fabric and apparel for export. The manufacturing facilities are located in Narayanganj, Gazipur and Cox’s Bazar.
