Opening Ceremony of 2025 Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair

The 2025 Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair was held on December 5, 6, and 7 at the Inya Lake Hotel and the Yangon Convention Centre (YCC).

Opening Ceremony of 2025 Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair and panel discussion were held on December 5. In the opening ceremony, Dr.Htein Linn (Director General of Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, Ministry of Commerce) delivered the opening speech and Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy Mr.Ouyang Dao Bing gave welcome remarks. Then, Vice-Chairman of UMFCCI, U Aye Tun gave a greeting message.

After that, Mr. Ouyang Dao Bing ( Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy), Dr.Htein Linn (Director General of Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, Ministry of Commerce) , U Aye Tun (Vice-Chairman of UMFCCI), Mr. Yu Xu, Deputy Director of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles ( CCCT ), Mr. Dato Sri Tan Thian Poh, Chief Delegate of ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries ( AFTEX ), U Myint Soe (Chairman of MGMA), Daw Khine Khine Nwe (Secretary General of MGMA), Mr. Albert Tan (Chairman of AFTEX), Mr. San Khun, Chairman of Chinese Textile and Garment Association in Myanmar launched the expo by LED screen touching officially and took group photo and tour around the expo.

ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX) delegation shared Future Focus: Strengthening Intra-ASEAN trade in the Apparel Supply Chain through panel discussions. The panel discussion moderated by Ms.Regina Leong and Mr Albert Tan Kim Teck, Mr. Setthapong Srisuphonvanij, Daw Khine Khine Nwe, Prof. Bin Shen, Mr. Dato Sri Tan Thian Poh discussed as panelist with Q & A session.
