Orange Meets Green: DBCCI Women’s Business Meet 2026 held

The “Orange Meets Green: DBCCI Women’s Business Meet 2026 – Give to Gain” was successfully held on the occasion of International Women’s Day, organized by the Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI) in collaboration with the Embassy of Bangladesh.

The event brought together distinguished guests, including Meherun N. Islam, Vice President of DBCCI; Shakawat Hossain Mamun, President of DBCCI; Md. Ashiqur Rahman, Lecturer, Department of Clinical Psychology, University of Dhaka; Sandra Brandenburg, Co-founder of Handelsroute (Netherlands); Vidya Amrit Khan, Vice President of BGMEA; Hasan Abdullah Towhid, Charge d’Affaires, Bangladesh Embassy in The Hague; and Rahima Begum, Additional Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh, Ms. Kyaw Sein Thay (Dolly), Chairman, Standing Committee, Women Entrepreneurship,
DBCCI.

The summit highlighted discussions on women’s leadership, trade, mental wellbeing, and strengthening collaboration between Bangladesh and the Netherlands, celebrating the spirit of empowerment and partnership.

This event marked on womrens day celebrated this year’s theme “Rights. Justice. Action. For All Women and Girls.” while emphasizing the need to remove barriers to justice and equal opportunity for women and girls everywhere.
