Oritain, the global leader in product origin verification through forensic science and data analysis, organized a Networking Evening followed by Dinner on April 27 at a renowned hotel in Dhaka. The event aimed to strengthen industry collaboration and raise awareness about supply chain transparency.

The event was graced by Zoe Keay, Vice President of Sales at Oritain, along with her global team. They connected with key stakeholders from the Textile and Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sectors, creating an excellent opportunity for professionals to network, exchange ideas, and explore new business avenues.
Industry leaders and experts from notable organizations such as DBL Group, Urmi Group, Team Group, Knit Asia Ltd, Majumder Group, SQ Group, Anwara Group, Mom and Son Ltd, AZ Group, BGMEA, BKMEA, and Mithela Group were in attendance.

During the event, Zoe Keay delivered a comprehensive presentation on Oritain’s traceability solutions, highlighting the company’s scientific approach to verifying product origin. She emphasized the critical role traceability plays in today’s market, where up to 60% of sustainable fashion claims are reportedly misleading.
“We help the world’s leading brands comply with regulations, meet ESG commitments, reduce the risk of fraud and unethical practices, and protect their reputations,” said Keay.
Oritain’s services span a wide range of industries—from cotton to coffee, food to fibre, and wine to wool. By improving supply chain transparency, the company empowers brands worldwide to make ethically responsible decisions for both people and the planet.
“Our mission is clear: protect integrity, ensure accountability, and set new industry standards for trust and traceability,” Keay added. “We work closely with clients to design custom programs that address the complexities of their supply chains. No matter the size of the operation, every stakeholder deserves the tools to prove the authenticity of their cotton and protect their brand integrity.”
The event concluded with a dynamic Q&A session, allowing guests to engage directly with Oritain’s experts. The networking evening was successfully organized and managed by Textile Focus, Bangladesh’s leading textile media platform.
