Pacific Attires to invest $31.75mn in Chattogram EPZ

Desk Report: Bangladeshi company Pacific Attires Limited, a sister concern of Pacific Jeans Group is going to set up a high-end garments manufacturing industry in Chattogram EPZ. It will be their 9th venture in CEPZ where they will invest US$ 31.75 million and create employment opportunities for 4994 Bangladeshi nationals.

The company will produce annually 18.72 million pieces of formal suits for men and women, jackets, coats, dress pants, casual wear, boys/girls casual wear.

Ali Reza Mazid, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Syed Mohammed Tanvir, Managing Director of Pacific Attires Limited, on 25 October 2022, signed an agreement to this effect on behalf of their respective organizations at BEPZA Complex, Dhaka. The Executive Chairman of BEPZA Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, ndc, psc along with Member (Engineering) Mohammad Faruque Alam, Executive Director (Administration) Md. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Executive Director (Public Relations) Nazma Binte Alamgir, Executive Director (Investment Promotion) Md. Tanvir Hossain and Executive Director (Enterprise Services) Md. Khorshid Alam witnessed the agreement signing ceremony.
