Desk Report: Palmal Group, a renowned RMG exporting company, has donated to the fund initiated by BGMEA to help the flood-affected people in different parts of the country including Sylhet and Sunamganj.
The donation comes as a part of Palmal Group’s social responsibility towards the people who are in need of support.
On behalf of Managing Director of Palmal Group Nafis Sikder, Group’s Director Md. Emdad Hossain handed over a check of 25 lacs taka to BGMEA President Faruque Hassan at his office today.
Earlier, the Palmal Group also donated 25 lacs taka to the BGMEA’s fund to assist people affected by the Covid-19 fallout.
BGMEA President Faruque Hassan expressed thanks to Palmal Group for its financial donation to the BGMEA’s fund.
He requested generous people and organizations to come forward and make financial contributions to the BGMEA’s fund to help the people who are living in misery caused by the recent floods.
