Palmal Group has launched an Organic Produce Kiosk at its Corporate Head Office (CHO), connecting its sustainable farming initiative with employee well-being through a “farm to our people” approach. The kiosk was inaugurated on 10 September 2026 in the presence of senior leadership, including COO AKM Sazzadul Karim, Director Major Azam (Retd.), Director Col. Nayeem (Retd.), Director Sohel Faruquee (Retd.) and CHRO Mostafa Iqbal, along with other members of the management and team. The initiative follows Palmal Group’s broader focus on responsible agriculture, environmental sustainability and employee well-being, bringing fresh produce from the company’s own farming initiative directly to employees.

Palmal Group began organic farming in January 2026 on 3.33 hectares of company-owned land in Ashulia. The initiative focuses on soil health, responsible cultivation practices and quality produce. According to the company, the cultivation process avoids the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and growth hormones. With the first harvest now ready, the company has introduced the kiosk at its Corporate Head Office, allowing employees to purchase fresh produce directly from the farming initiative.

The Organic Produce Kiosk will operate three days a week at Basement 01 of Palmal Group’s Corporate Head Office, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Produce will be sold to CHO employees at prices based on the prevailing market rate for each crop on the day of sale. Initially, products will be available in 1 kg pre-packaged units, with supply expected to increase based on employee demand. The kiosk will operate through a 100% cashless payment system, accepting debit, credit and prepaid cards from any bank.

Palmal Group said the initiative reflects its broader approach of integrating sustainability into different aspects of its business and workplace. By connecting its agricultural activities directly with employees, the company aims to promote healthier choices while encouraging responsible cultivation and environmental stewardship.

The “farm to our people” model extends the company’s sustainability efforts beyond operational and environmental priorities to include employee well-being and workplace culture. The launch of the Organic Produce Kiosk therefore marks another step in Palmal Group’s sustainability journey, creating a direct link between its farming initiative in Ashulia and fresh produce reaching employees at its Corporate Head Office.
